Look book: Summer ideas in 2023
Well, kurtis are our best friends during the summer season. We can pair them with salwars, palazzos, leggings, jeggings, jeans. So take all the
kurti-style kameez that you used to pair them with their respective
salwars/palazzo/etc., and pair them with
your denim, fold the denim, and make them ankle length. If your kurti is a round
neck or any designer neck, try to add a waistcoat or a scarf/stole around your neck. I have tried this look myself, and trust me, people have always loved it. About footwear, go with kohlapuri/ballerinas/jutti/boots to complete the
look. This way you can get all the new look out of your old kurtis, that you have decided to discard this year. See, you can
always experiment with your wardrobe and make the best use of everything in there.

We all have different styles of palazzos in our wardrobes. So pick the widest ones, and try pairing them with the tops available in your closet, it can be a tank top or a crop top, any regular top that you wear with your jeans. Tuck it in or leave it outside, depending upon your body type or however, you feel comfortable. Don't be shy, just try it at least once, I am sure you will like it and people will be going to copy your style. Add a shrug if you want, because this way you can hide those love handles and have a lean curvy look. Well, for footwear you can go with any sandals, flip-flops/ballerinas/heels. All will go with this look.
Long A-Line/Anarkali kurti into maxi dress
Well for this idea, I have a surprise for you, yes you read it right. We are going to style an A-line kurti/anarkali kurti (cotton/linen/rayon) into a maxi dress, coz they have been kept in your closet for so long, because you are shy to wear them on regular basis. so take out that long floor length/anarkali, out-fashioned kurti of your closet. You don't have to do much, just wear them as a maxi dress and add a belt to your waist and you are good to go. Adjust the length of the kurti, if you want, by pulling little bit of fabric upward and adjust it with the help of the belt and here you get a new maxi dress, just out of your closet. Wear sneakers for footwear to give a completely different look.
·
Dhoti Salwars with top
Dhoti salwars have been in fashion for a long time. But, have you gotten bored of wearing the same outfit time and again? Well, then you can try this idea, to get a whole new look. Try a short high-thigh length kurti or wear a peplum top with dhoti salwar . This way you can also hide that too much puffy layer of those pleats of dhoti around your hip area and get a whole new look with the comfort of breeziness in your legs. Since, those pleats around the waist to thigh area is already getting too much attention, its better you go with really simple for the footwear. But try going with the elegance while trying this style because even a little too much with this dress will ruin the whole look.
· Knee-length top into one piece
If you are a short dress person, and never shy of experimenting a little. Then my dear girls, you can try this style by wearing any of your knee length top or an A-line kurti with a belt on waist. For footwear, go with sneakers and a girlish look is all ready. But, don’t forget to wear cycling shorts beneath, because you top/kurti can be little sheer looking and all those one-piece/dresses always have layering beneath them.
Short loose kurti/ Large size Shirt with shorts
So I went to Goa last
year i.e. 2022. There I saw a girl wearing a loose white thigh-length kurti
with shorts. Though, the shorts were not visible even when she was fixing her
ponytail, but, I am sure she was wearing them. So, I bought a short kurti style
top from Goa only and tried it with the shorts that I already had in my bag. Though, the kurti was not the same, but it
came out really good. With the comfort of an easy breezy loose upper, you get to show
the sexy side of yours. For Footwear, go with some boho style and you are just ready to rock the world.

3 creative ideas to style an old dress
3 creative ideas to style an old dress
Hello beauties!! How are you feeling on this hot summary day? I hope you are doing good. Well yeah, it is really going to be too hot during this summer season and you need to take good care of yourself and protect yourself from this scorching heat, along with looking beautiful right? Don't worry, no body can stop you from doing that.😜
So, let's jump to today’s topic, of styling your old dress into three different ways, that I'll be sharing with you in detail. So, girls if you have a long full buttoned kurti in your closet, which you have not tried in a long time, then my friends, its time to take it out and let’s style it together. I will be sharing 3 ways on how you can style them and flaunt all the three looks gracefully, this summer season. So, let’s get started.
1. FULL BUTTONED KURTI AS ONE PIECE
Well for the first look, you need to wear your kurti and button up from top to bottom, add a belt if required, or tie a knot if there is already
attached cloth belt. Pair it with white sneakers and your whole look is ready. Don’t
forget to wear cycling shorts beneath, as buttons tend to open if not done
properly, plus it is safe to always wear cycling shorts beneath your one piece
dresses.
2. HALF BUTTONED KURTI WITH WIH JEANS
This one is my all time, safe and most like way of wearing my
buttoned kurti because, I can wear them to my office also (Govt. Office you
know). Since, I am from a conservative family, wearing one piece dresses are a no-no to routine life. I only wear them when I am on a trip with
my husband, to a beach or some similar places, where I and everybody around is
comfortable with my outfit. This is completely my personal opinion on dressing, you do your thing. So, anyways, for this look we are going to wear the
same kurti half-buttoned, or if you like you can only button up few middle ones and rest keep open, pair it with blue denims and you are all set. For footwear
go with, sneakers, loafers, mules, stilettos, kolhapuris.
3. AS A SHRUG
Yes you read it right! You can wear it as a shrug. For this look, all you need to do is that wear a crop top or a camisole/spaghetti top, pair it with blue denim and wear your kurti as a shrug with front wide open. Tie a knot to the attached belt behind your back to give a curve to your waist or if it doesn't have a belt, then leave it this way only and you are all done. For footwear, try mules, heels, gladiators, thong and sneakers you know goes with every western and indo-western dress.
So that is all for today’s blog about styling your anarkali/A-line
buttoned kurti in 3 different styles. Do give it a try and share your views
with me in the comment box below. Really looking forward to know how you feel
about my shares with you guys. Love Love💓💓

Purse Organization Hacks with Do's and Don'ts
We females can carry the whole world in our purse. But, let me tell you girls, that you really don't need to carry everything in your purse. Even I had this habit of stuffing my purse with plenty of non-useful things and end up hurting my arm while carrying it, also get irritated if I could not find a thing that I am looking for. And slowly I started to stop carrying my purse around. Not carrying a purse was a relief. But, later I realized that this habit is not a solution but maintaining it properly is. So, to sort out the situation, I discovered a few ideas on how to organize my purse in a way that I don't take any unnecessary things with me and still be available with all sorts of things that are essential. So, let's get started with sharing the same ideas so that you too get benefit from them.
Do's
- Make a list of things that you require or may require any time like the medicines, or any other essential things.
- Pick the most essential ones from the point above👆 but don't forget your your keys 🔑. Remember to keep the list short.
- Make little packets of all the essential things in ziplock bags separately as per the nature and type of the items. Or, if you don't prefer ziplock bags then there is a variety of cute & small zipper pouches available in the market to organize your stuff. This way you will not have to look your entire bag for a single thing.
- Of course, carry a wallet containing your cards, some cash, an identity card but not all of them.
- Let' move on to the other non-essential/sometimes essential things. Believe me, you are really beautiful the way you are and there is no need to carry a huge bag of beauty products in your purse including a hairbrush/comb. Try these ideas to minimize your makeup requirements:
- For lipstick, keep a neutral shade in your purse that will go with any colour of the outfit.
- For hairbrush/comb and mirror, try some 2-in-1 products like VEGA Compact Hair Brush with Foldable Mirror. I use a hairbrush for my hair. So this product has turned out to be a blessing for my purse.
- Replace your big packaged facewash with the small packs or you may also try Smytten App for some amazing trial packs if you are looking to try something new. They come in a small handy bottles/packs, easy to carry and store. You will have to download the app to get the trial packs.
- Replace your tissue box with a handkerchief. If you think you will forget to change your handkerchief every day then try this, make a space for your handkerchief in your dressing table instead of almirah, as you might forget to take it from your wardrobe but not from the dressing table as that is the last space where you stand and get ready before going out.
- Do not buy huge purses. I believe bigger the purse, bigger the list of items will be.
- Stop throwing just everything inside your purse without organizing properly.
- Avoid keeping large no. of coins, as they tend to add weight to your purse and becomes messy sometimes.
- Do not stuff your bag with your mobile charger, as it can be really messy and try to make a habit to keep it charged before going out. If you still have a tight schedule then instead of keeping a bigger cable go with the small and handy ones, as they take less space.
- Do not keep your earphones loose in the purse. Try this Rack Jack Round Storage Zipper Case Pouch Bag For Earphone for neat storage of your earphones and get rid of the problem of de-tangling them every single time before usage.

7 Tricks to look slim in saree : without even loosing weight
Saree is an Indian traditional outfit, a fashion, which is never going to fade away. In fact, the trend of wearing saree is increasing over time, by adding new fashion elements.
I personally love wearing sarees and prefer to wear them every now and then. Draping a perfect saree is a work of "art." If not draped properly the whole look can be ruined. Achieving a perfect saree draping is a tricky task and managing it can be painstaking. While a saree can make you look like an Indian Goddess, the same saree can also make you look like you're drowning in a bundle of fabric, if not properly worn.
Here, I will be sharing 7 tricks on how you can look slim in a saree without actually losing weight!!
1. Draping style :
The first and foremost element to achieve a perfect saree look is the style of draping it. As I earlier said , draping a perfect saree can be a tricky task, that we often forget while deciding on all the accessories and makeup. Draping the right style as per your body type is an essential feature of looking slim in a saree.
Try to avoid an extremely long saree. A 5.5 meters is enough to drape a beautiful saree. Tie your petticoat above your naval. I am here suggesting to tie the petticoat above the naval is because it helps to hide those extra bulges that we have around our tummy, and also for keeping the saree in place and do not slide down. But, make sure it is not too tight or too loose.
Make nice and tidy pleats by making sure that they are neither too small nor too big. After pleating secure all the pleats together with the help of a safety pin . Press all the pleats together nicely with the help of your hand to give it a tidy and lean look before tucking it inside the petticoat.
Next is the Pallu! You can style your pallu either way, wide open or pleated. A well-pleated pallu can give you a slimmer look as you can see in the image above. Try to make it narrower from the shoulder and broader coming down.
If you are planning to keep full open pallu then, pin it up nicely on your shoulder, do not tighten it too much from the bust. Try to keep it a little lower from the right side of the bust, this way it gives a nice curve to your body, reducing the bulkiness around the bust area. You can also make few pleats from the bottom of your pallu (bottom here means width-wise), tighten it from the thigh area, lift up gradually and pin it up at the side of your waist with the help of a safety pin, and voila! You look ravishing! 👇

2. Colour
The second element of looking slim in a saree is to choose the right color. While black color can make you look slimmer, white can make you look chubby. So always try to choose dark colors for your saree. And if you ask me for color suggestions, then I have a variety of trending colors on my list. May it be red (blood red), maroon, forest green, wine green, indigo blue, Mexican pink, chocolate, there are several choices of dark colors that you can go for.

3. Fabric
While choosing a saree look for softer fabric that will stick to your body and does not add extra bulkiness. Avoid wearing cotton fabric as it adds fluffiness and also is not easy to handle. Go for fabrics like georgette, chiffon, tussar silk, satin, and some similar ones, as they stick to your body and gives a lean clean look.

4. Blouse Style
For the blouse, I will suggest to opt for a low back (as preferred). Especially for the heavy bust women, it is a no-no to collar or high neck blouse. Though, they look classic and trendy, they can make your bust look heavier. So, my advice is to go for an open-designer neck. Another piece of advice is to wear long or quarter sleeves to hide the bulkiness of arms. I, myself have heavy arms, and hence, I always go with a quarter sleeves may it be Indian or western wear.
5. Prints
There are several designs and patterns that you need to avoid while picking a saree for yourself, as these prints, can play a role in either making or breaking your shape. The big or eye-catchy prints are strictly suggested to be avoided. Stick to the small prints. Small and elongated prints that are spread across the saree can make you look taller and slimmer. So, the next time you go shopping Saree for your self, keep this thing in your mind.
6. Right Accessory
Pairing the right jewelry with your saree can enhance the whole look. A heavy jewelry is a complete no-no here! Unfortunately heavy jewelry can make you look bulky. Do not wear heavy neckpieces if you are wearing heavy earrings or vice-versa. Go with some sleek and delicate designed accessories to compliment your saree.
7. Posture
Now about posture! You might be thinking that why is posture so important here. I understand that carrying a 6 yards saree all day long is not an easy task but a saree with only look graceful if you carry it gracefully. They say "it takes what it takes". But, you know, at the end when you see your photographs you will feel thankful to have followed this advice.
So, whether you are standing or sitting maintain a straight & tall posture. A loose posture can lead to show the problem areas of your body for eg. your belly, which I am fully aware of that none of you want. Keep adjusting your saree and pressing the pleats every time your stand up after sitting for long time. Saree is all about magnificence which can only be achieved if you put some effort in it.

And that’s all! So, another time you think of wearing a saree and the thought of looking heavy comes to your mind, just try these simple tricks. You yourself will see the results. But, do let me know how it turned out in the comment box below. Always waiting for your feedback. Love Love ❤❤

Step by Step Guide to Apply Kajal-Eyeliner in Four Different Ways
I am not a patient person and applying eyeliner is a work of patience. Besides, I am always running late 🤫😝 and applying a liquid eyeliner in a rush is absolutely not my thing. In order to avoid this situation, I replaced liquid eyeliner with a kajal. Slowly and gradually kajal took place of eyeliner in my daily routine. It is easy to grip a kajal pencil than an eyeliner brush as well as the application is really smooth. Also, I like the beautiful smokey look it gives to my eyes even if it smudges out. So, today I will be sharing some simple and easy kajal-eyeliner application ideas that I follow in my daily routine.

How To Style A Long Skirt
Long skirts are in fashion for quite a long time. And believe me, this one fashion is not going to fade away any soon. Long skirts for summer have been a boon for women's fashion as they are easy breezy and look super classy. Pairing a skirt with the right top is the idea that brought me here. Many of you are bored with the common style of wearing a skirt with a basic tee or a top, which does not make much difference with other's style and your beautiful skirt just keeps hanging there in your closet, and one day you just give it away. So, to save you from throwing that pretty skirt, I hereby, bring some unique ideas to style your skirt in different ways along with accessorizing the whole look, that you are going to like very much. So, let's get started. 👇
How To Style A Long Skirt
Photo by Isabela Kronemberger on Unsplash
1. Skirt with a Shirt
Pair a long skirt with a full sleeve shirt, fold the sleeves to the middle of your forearm. Tuck the shirt inside your skirt. For footwear go with ankle boots. Accessorize the look with a piece of statement jewelry. For hairstyle do a half tie with a matching ribbon and your girly look is ready.
2. Skirt with a Crop Top
I have a variety of crop tops in my closet. I style them with jeans, a dungaree, and even with my sarees. They are really trendy and comfortable.
Pair your layered skirt with a crop top. Make sure it has sleeves, as sleeves add elegance to your look and the skirt is all about elegance and grace. Also Pairing a skirt with a crop gives your waist a defined look by giving you an hourglass shape. So, next for the footwear, I suggest stilletos. Uplifting your back, high heels bring out your feminine diva and add grace to the look. If you are not a high heel person, then you can always go with flat ballerinas or sneakers, they look super smart with this outfit. Now, accessorize the look with beautiful pair of earrings, both hanging and studs will go with the look. Last but not the least, for hairstyle make a high ponytail and your chic look is ready.
Photo by Olga Guryanova on Unsplash
3. Skirt with a Long Shrug
Pair your layered long skirt with a basic top, add a long shrug to the style. Any basic footwear that you have in your collection, any but "chappals" with go with the style. I personally don't like to wear chappals like Kolhapuri or similar to wear with skirts and suggest the same to you. Accessorize the look with oxidized jewelry. You may go with open hair with this style. If you have long hair, a side-fishtail will be a perfect match.
Photo by Alexi Romano on Unsplash
4. Skirt With a Bell Sleeve Top
Bell sleeves are in fashion for the last few years and will be staying for quite a long time. Pairing a long pleated skirt with a bell sleeve top adds extra flair to the whole look. For footwear go with the high heel shoes you own, and if not then you need not worry, flats will also work. Accessorize with long hanging earrings and for hairstyle go with open hair.
5. Pencil Skirt with a Peplum Top
Last but not the least, my most loved style, a pencil skirt with a peplum top. Almost all of us desire to wear a pencil skirt. But, we hesitate to wear them because of their slim-fitting structure. This skirt shows your feminine diva. Reveals your curves and gives you a classy and bold look. Pairing it with a peplum top is a bonus point. By pairing a pencil top with a peplum top helps to cover the area around your hips and thighs and this way you can wear and style your favorite dress without any hesitation. For footwear, I prefer flat wedgies as walking in a pencil skirt can be a tricky task. So wearing something comfortable will help to carry the look perfectly. For accessories wear something that adds extra class but, try not to add too much as it will kill the whole look. For a hairdo, you can try a side messy bun. This is one of my favorite hairstyles to pair with this look.

Bonus suggestions: Wear a plain colored top with a printed skirt and vice-versa so that the whole design does not over-power the look and always tuck your top inside.
Hope you like the styles I shared with you and you try them too. Please let me know, which style you liked the most. And, you can always ask about any fashion queries that you have in your mind. I'll be happy to update you with the latest fashion and styles. Till then Love Love!💖💖
